SEC Transport (Super EcoCombi)
Van Dooren Transport is investigating the possibilities of using the SEC (Super Eco Combi) on certain routes. The SEC consists of the combination Tractor > 13.60 mtr semi-trailer > dolly > 13.60 mtr semi-trailer. With its 32 meters, the SEC has 26 meters of loading space. This is 6 loading meters (30%) more than the EcoCombi (LZV) of which there are now about 1,300 driving around on Dutch roads. The SEC is currently still a concept vehicle for which a test track has been started.
